R.E. Burrillo is an author, conservationist, and cultural resource management specialist whose focus is the Bears Ears, Grand Staircase-Escalante, and greater Grand Canyon region. He is the author of a forthcoming book about the history, cultures, and conservation battle in Bears Ears, scheduled for publication in October 2020 by Torrey House Press. He currently works as an assistant principal investigator for SWCA Environmental Consultants, and splits his time between Salt Lake City and Flagstaff, AZ.
