Michelle Griffith

Michelle began her foray into environmentalism at the ripe age of 18, attending engineering school with a focus on solar energy. Upon graduation, jaded at the idea of saving the world through a 9-5 desk job, Michelle found in Moab manifesting purpose through a different style of work.

Upon graduation, jaded on the idea of saving the world for 40 hours a week from behind a desk, Michelle found herself living Moab (in a truck at first, of course), inspired by the immense power of the desert and the millennia of history. Michelle's deepest passion is to connect and heal herself through her connection with nature and Mother Earth, and create conscious space in which others can do the same. She manifests this purpose through work leading off-grid yoga retreats in Moab with Wild Sol Retreats, guiding outdoor activities such as climbing and canyoneering, and working with The Dust Magazine, on fundraising and community outreach.
